Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Team formation

Each team must contain 6 members. Team may consist upto 5 Lassonde School of Engineering students and atleast one student from Schulich School of Business.

Important: All members must be current students.

Sign up

There are three kinds of sign ups:

Students may sign up individually and organizing committee will assign you a team.

Lassonde Students may form teams of five members and complete team sign up application. Organizing committee will provide an Schulich School student to complete the team within two weeks of team sign up.

Lassonde and Schulich students can collaborate to form teams of six members and complete team sign up application.

Judges Panel

Panel will consists of experts from engineering industry to evaluate the performance of our talented students.

Book presentation time slots

A document will be uploaded on the website on the day of the competition. Teams will be able to book presentation time slots on first come first serve basis. Presentations will be conducted on 14th March 2016 (Monday). This way student will not miss their classes.

Do I have to pay for food?

No, Food is covered in the registration fee. We will be providing supplies for

March 11: Dinner + Snacks
March 12: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner + Snacks
March 13: Optional day to finish your task (No meal provided)
March 14: Breakfast with representatives from companies

Where will the competition take place?

Registrations will take place in Vari Hall Rotunda, York University.
After registrations team will be allotted separate rooms in Vari Hall.

Do we need to stay overnight?

It is optional. According to the schedule each day ends at 11:00 PM but teams can choose to stay overnight. Rooms and snacks will be available.

Do we have a place to sleep?

You have the option to relax in your allotted room.

Judging Criteria

The criteria will be disclosed on the day of the event.
