Evolving Rhythms of African-diasporic Dance Conference 2026
This year I came in-person.
As a Chair of Dance Umbrella of Ontario and a National Board Member of Canadian Dance Assembly, I proposed a timely subject. The week went from presenting on the 'Funding Climate of the African-diasporic dance artists in Canada' to dancing, drumming, fellowship and performance at University of Alberta Arts in Health workshop with the academics.
