Life lately and a Schoolhouse update! Things are coming along and we are getting into some of the finer details which is exciting. Abby has loved being involved in the process and it’s been so fun having her along for it 🤍
Apart from that, we’ve been really enjoying spending quality time with friends, and Abby competed in her first squash match (she loved it!) 🥰

Here’s what I’m seeing in Toronto right now: buyers are more confident, inventory is tightening, and homes are selling. It’s not the frenzy of a few years ago - it’s actually more strategic, which I think is healthy.

It’s really starting to feel like spring is here - love seeing the leaves and flowers bloom! Just need the temperature to catch up 🤪 looking like it will be very warm starting end of this week, and oh will we welcome it ☀️

A few things we are really looking forward to are walking down to Evergreen Brickworks, taking a slow morning shopping, wandering the trails, and taking our gravel bikes on the rail trail in Collingwood!

Burrata is your anchor. From there, build like you’re writing a menu. Figs because they’re sweet and a little unexpected. Pomegranate for colour and that hit of tartness. Cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, salami, crusty bread, citrus.
Everything should belong together. A board needs a flavour story, not just whatever’s in the fridge.
Then fill the gaps. Let things spill into each other. It should look generous, not gridded. Have fun with it!
