Want to get good at making games? Make as many games as you can as quickly as possible! Here's some progress on a portal and updated enemies for my VR adblock side-project. Expect more BirdQuest news later in the week!
Quick 2-day VR side-project prototype for a class. It's a stationary shooter where you play as an ad-blocker defending yourself against sentient popups. Looking forward to iterating on this one and hopefully doing a Steam release!

All new BirdQuestVR headset, completely custom made in house. Same specs as the Vive but with half a rubber chicken mask on top. Preorders for Dev kits coming soon.
Some more incredibly early PC vs. VR gameplay!
The giant chicken head is being embodied and controlled in realtime by a VR player, while the bouncing chick is controlled by a player on PC.
Super excited to iterate like crazy on this prototype in the next few months, big things planned! Squawk!
Encountered a weird bug while developing the other day and it looked kinda cool so I played around with it for a bit. Have you ever caused any weird but fun bugs? Let me know in the comments or via carrier pigeon.

The PC player's gameplay is like a 2.5D platformer, their goal will be to mess up the VR player's workflow by hitting buttons and moving around objects. The VR player can stop them with traps and thrown objects!

Namecheap.com is using a chicken in VR in their latest banner, but still doesn't provide an option for ".bird" domains. When will the hypocrisy end??? 🐧😤
