Move For Change

For the month of April Move For Change is supporting our good Friend Andrew Tsang, Bernard, Marvin and Joe as they do a relay from Toronto To Muskoka in support of Campfire Circle who create opportunities for children to build friendships and social skills, develop self-confidence and resilience, and improve their overall well-being.

For the month of March Move For Change is supporting The Pinball Clemons Foundation provides marginalized and racialized youth with educational resources and options to integrate into the mainstream of society.

For the month of February Move For Change is supporting Caribbean African Canadian Social Services.
Caribbean African Canadian Social Services (CAFCAN) is a registered charitable organization dedicated to providing culturally appropriate services and support to the Caribbean and African Canadian communities in the Greater Toronto Area.

For the month of Nov we supported the great foundation at Tropicana Community Services. They were one of our first charities we supported in the first year of Move For Change. A little about them…
Tropicana Community Services, a Toronto-based multi-service organization, provides all youth, newcomers, people of Black and Caribbean heritage and others in need with opportunities and alternatives that lead to success and positive life choices. Our mission is achieved through culturally appropriate programs such as counselling, child care, educational and employment services and youth development.

What a great year! So grateful for everyone who moved, donated, shared, and cheered this year. Because of you, we were able to raise funds for some truly amazing foundations and communities in need.

Youth Assisting Youth is dedicated to investing in the leaders of tomorrow and transforming the lives of at-risk and newcomer youth through the power of mentorship. For over 40 years, we’ve paired volunteer young adult mentors aged 16-29, with youth ages 6-15 to engage in activities aimed to develop mind, body, character, and leadership skills.

For the month of October we are proud to support Jamaica. Hurricane Melissa, a powerful Category 5 storm, has passed, leaving widespread devastation across Jamaica.
Thousands of people have been affected, with families displaced, homes destroyed, and livelihoods shattered. Now begins the hard road to recovery. Together, let’s stand ready to help families rebuild their homes, restore their lives, and bring hope back to our nation.
