MY CITY: it is that time of the year. The witching hour is growing near. In my city we love to get dressed up in scary costumes and share sweet candy with each other. I let my guest have cannolis as a treat. Living one painting at a time.

MY CITY: Good and evil crosses through everyone's heart. Living one painting at a time.

MY CITY: I have artist friends in other cities and towns. My boys 80 Empire sending me some love. My portrait of them on the cover of their new CD. Awesome BOYS!. Living one fountain pen drawing at a time.

ART THOUGHT: I was on the train on the 3rd of October and I did this quick 20 minute gesture drawing of this person riding the train. Two days later I did this fountain pen drawing of a wrist watch in my living room, while watching in HD a watch collector talk about they're collection, when I finished the drawing I wondered if that would classify as drawing from life. Drawing from life is an observational discipline. It is, drawing what is around you, even if what is around you is a sign post or a billboard or an image projected on a screen. Visiting collectors home, Look what I found a Pisano Artista painting. Beautiful, nothing like seeing a real paintings in person. Simply put, you can feel the presence of the artist. Reproductions and prints just can't give you that experience.

MY CITY: Urban cities grow out of rural communities. I love to visit cool place outside of my city. This was a very cool lumber yard, north of Bancroft. I was on a painting outing with artist Inez.
