Sara Kae, is a singer-songwriter born and raised in Thunder Bay and a member of Lake Helen First Nation. Sara recently took part in the CBC x SOCAN Reverie residency, just relocated to Toronto, and is spending her summer playing shows across Ontario.

Lisa Nasson is a Mi’kmaw actor, playwright, and emerging director raised in Millbrook First Nation in Mi’kma’ki, Nova Scotia. Lisa wrote and acted in her recently-debuted play Mischief, an incredible story about the real-life protest and removal of a controversial Halifax monument.

We are heartbroken to share the news of the sudden passing of Cris Derksen; cellist, composer, and a singular voice in Indigenous classical music. Cris wove together classical training, Indigenous tradition, and electronic music in a sound entirely their own.
Our thoughts are with their family, friends, colleagues and collaborators today.
