A 100% chocolate sculpture inspired by “Unexpected Pairings“ designed and realized by yours truly for the

It took 40 kilograms of chocolate and nine (12 hour!) days onsite to make this piece from start to finish. All of the chocolate was pre-crystallized by hand, no fancy equipment and yes, the warm weather really slowed things down 😉

The original idea began with an octopus and the moon, then slowly morphed to include The Beatles inspired garden theme and fun details like the flower suckers, sunglasses, luna moth and moon-crusted lemon wedge!

It is an absolute honour and privilege to work with chocolate, share my skills with viewers and ultimately share the deliciousness…

…Yes that’s right, Pearl the Choctopus will be on display until Labour Day, then she will get broken into pieces and devoured by you beautiful people!!
