We teamed up with to bring a fresh, yuzu-inspired twist to Smoked “Salmon” Crostinis!
Our carrot lox paired with their Tocha Yuzu is bright, flavourful, and perfect for hosting!

Recipe:

1. Spread cream cheese on crostinis
2. Top with Save da Sea Plant-based Smoked Salmon
3. Add a drizzle of Tocha Yuzu
4. Garnish with dill

Easy to put together, fun to serve, and even better to snack on! Happy new year!

DYK we have 2 flavours of smoked ‘salmon’? People always ask me which one is my fave but it’s more about what I’m using it for. Our original carrot lox is perfect for Asian dishes like sushi or poke bowls and our dill caper flavour is a convenient way to enjoy our lox on bagels, crackers and mezze platters 👊🏼

Inarizushi with our smoked ‘salmon’ is my fave appy to make for guests because they’re delicious, vegan, gluten-free AND SO EASY to make!!! 🍣

A key ingredient is Inari-Age (fried tofu) pouches which you can find at your nearest Asian grocery store. 

Tag a friend you’re going to make this for this holiday season ✨

Ingredients:
Inari-Age (seasoned tofu pockets) ~18-20 pouches
2 cups cooked sushi rice
2 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp sugar
½ tsp salt
1 pack Save da Sea Smoked Salmon
Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions:
In a small bowl, mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved.

Gently fold this mixture into the cooked rice. Let it cool to room temperature.

Roll small balls of sushi rice and gently stuff them into each inari pocket.

Place a slice of smoked salmon on top of each filled pocket.

Sprinkle sesame seeds over top.
Add optional garnishes like nori, pickled ginger, avocado, or plant-based spicy mayo drizzle.

Itadakimasu!
