Are these erasers popular in Canada? 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Tonight’s dinner at the CBB house is proof that comfort food doesn’t have to break the grocery budget. 🍅🍝
This Victoria Day Monday Italian Sauce is packed with:
✔ Ground beef
✔ Italian sausages
✔ Fresh tomatoes
✔ Tomato passata & paste
✔ Zucchini
✔ Carrots
✔ Red bell peppers
✔ Mushrooms
✔ Onions & garlic
✔ Chicken stock
✔ Seasonings
✔ And 1 secret ingredient 🤫
The best part? Stretching meat with fresh vegetables is one of the smartest grocery-saving tricks Canadian families can use right now. One big pot can feed a family for days, create freezer meals, and turn leftovers into pasta night, lasagna, stuffed peppers, or even pizza sauce.
With grocery prices still high across Canada, homemade meals like this can save hundreds every month compared to takeout.
Would you rather spend $80 on one restaurant meal… or make a giant pot of homemade Italian sauce that feeds the family multiple times? 👇

🚨 CONTROVERSIAL QUESTION FOR CANADIANS 🚨
Ontario could reportedly spend up to **$20 MILLION PER YEAR** just to STORE unsold U.S. alcohol sitting in LCBO warehouses. 🍾💸
That’s taxpayer money potentially going toward:
✔️ Warehousing
✔️ Insurance
✔️ Security
✔️ Inventory carrying costs
Meanwhile, the alcohol has already been purchased and is just sitting there collecting dust.
So here’s the big question…
👇 SHOULD ONTARIO:
🇨🇦 Continue keeping U.S. alcohol off shelves as a political statement?
OR
💰 Sell the inventory and stop costing taxpayers millions?
At a time when Canadians are struggling with:
🏠 Housing costs
🥖 Grocery prices
⛽ Gas prices
💳 Debt and high interest rates
…is spending millions to store alcohol justified?

Good Morning CBB Friends! What are your plans for the long weekend? We are going to a pool party/BBQ today. St. Jacobs yesterday was chaotic. It was packed with people and the lineup for the apple fritters was down the street and around the corner. We definitely have to go back one day, but earlier to try the fritters. We ended up with a big bag of Mutsu Apples and Nutella Croissants.
Have a fantastic day. Please support this page by Liking this post to help the algorithm. Mr. CBB

FYI Bell Mobile Users!
Source link in the comments.
Yes, it’s that time of year again. Bell is rolling out wireless price increases of up to $6 in the coming months.
Some Bell customers took to Reddit to report that their wireless services are going up in price starting in July 2026.
One Redditor posted an image of the message they received from the carrier. Bell’s mobile customers are getting emails indicating that their monthly bill will increase by $6 per line starting July 2026.
Since 2020, Bell has invested more than $24 billion to deliver Canada’s fastest networks at competitive prices. Due to rising operating costs and an evolving market, the monthly rate of Bell wireless services will be increasing by a range of $3 to $6 for select customers nationwide in July 2026. All impacted customers will receive at least 30 days’ advance notice.
We value our customers, and we are committed to providing them with flexible options. Our plans, bundles and promotions range from premium offerings to affordable packages designed to meet the needs of different customers.”

FYI 📣🚨 TESLA Recall
TESLA has announced a recall for thousands of vehicles in Canada and the U.S. due to a software issue that could prevent the rearview camera image from displaying properly, increasing the risk of a crash while backing up.
The recall notice, first posted May 5 on Transport Canada and later updated on May 14, noted that on certain Tesla vehicles, a software problem could delay the rearview camera image from appearing when the transmission is shifted into reverse shortly after the vehicle is started.
Canadian regulations require the rearview camera image to display within two seconds of shifting into reverse gear.
“A rearview camera image that doesn’t display could reduce a driver’s ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up,” the recall warned.
Vehicles affected by this recall include:
Tesla Model 3 vehicles manufactured between 2021 and 2023
Tesla Model S vehicles manufactured between 2021 and 2023
Tesla Model X vehicles manufactured between 2022 and 2023
Tesla Model Y vehicles manufactured between 2020 and 2023
The recall affects 13,846 vehicles in Canada.
Tesla said owners of affected vehicles will be notified by email. The automaker has already released an over-the-air software update to correct the issue.

FYI Lottery players in certain parts of Canada are now affected by recent changes introduced by some corporations.
Two Canadian lottery corporations say they’ve added new measures this year to better protect winners’ identities.
winners’ identities.
British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) was the first corporation to implement changes to how it publicly announces winners. Previously, BCLC published media releases on its website that included winners’ full names, the community where they live, recent photos, and stories about their win.
However, as of Jan. 1, the corporation made a slight change, only including a winner’s first name and the initial of their last name on its website and media releases.
We decided to take this proactive step to ensure we can continue to support player trust and confidence and the integrity and security of our games while providing players with additional privacy,” said Shelly Wong, a BCLC spokesperson, in an interview with Daily Hive.
In April, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) said that winner releases will only include the initial of their last names. However, unlike BCLC, OLG winners who win $1,000 or more will still have their names published on the OLG website, where they will remain for 30 days.
