Freestyle skiing holds a special place for Resonator partner Richard Peirce. From 1985 to 1992, Richard was part of the Canadian National Freestyle ski team and competed in the Calgary and Albertville Winter Olympic Games.

2026 marks the 50th anniversary of the Canadian National Championships. Resonator stepped up to bring the stories of former Canadian champions and the leading athletes of tomorrow together onscreen, for a celebration for 5,000 attendees, for Freestyle Canada. Our work highlighted National, World Cup and Olympic champions from across the generations.

As Richard says, “It was an opportunity to reconnect with my skiing family, that I spent years travelling and competing with, and to celebrate the sport that gave me so much.” At the gala, skiers cheered on the vintage footage of athletes and heard about the impact of a discipline that set the stage for today’s extreme sports culture.

2025 took us places. Literally. 🌎

Last year, our work didn’t stay behind a desk. It took us across multiple cities, working alongside clients in real rooms, on real sites, and in real moments that mattered. From strategy sessions and live events to podcast production and video shoots, we showed up where the work needed to happen. Each location brought new context, sharper thinking, and better outcomes for our partners. Geography wasn’t a barrier; it was an advantage.
