T O D D L E R A C T I V I T Y || Okay this has to be the simplest exercise but the best for my gang. We have a one level bungalow if a boy cave in the basement with all the fun toys that are loud, fast + annoying. So... I’ve made these fun traceable numbers for my toddler. He is completely not motivated for me to be his “teacher” so instead of struggling with him.. this has proven to be a wonderful and rewarding exercise for both of us. Anytime he wants to go into the basement to play he must go through these numbers with me. On the way down + the way up. It’s a struggle sometimes but there’s an end in sight for him. Do you know of any mommas with a little one that needs some more fun ways of learning? Help a momma out + Tag them below. Let’s all make this Quarantine a little bit more bearable! Check out a few of our other posts as well for some helpful ideas.

T O D D L E R A C T I V I T Y || Singing the Alphabet while Washing Our Hands. It seems every 5 minutes we are getting our kids to wash their hands during these unprecedented times. This is a fun activity that serves two purposes. For starters; it’s a good reminder to older kids how long they need to be washing their hands. For younger kids it’s a fun way to repeatedly being exposed to the alphabet. Even if it seems like your toddler couldn’t care less about the alphabet.. repeated exposure to the sounds and look of the letters will eventually pay off! I hope this is a helpful tool to some mommas with defiant babies who aren’t showing an interest in learning. Please share this with some parents if you know of anyone having a hard time teaching their littles. It’s so simple but is a wonderful tool in our house these days.

T O D D L E R A C T I V I T Y || Life is hard these days. Teaching our littlest shouldn’t be an added stress. This is a wonderful sensory / teaching tool that encourages learning in a fun way. All you need for this activity is a tray/large Tupperware bin/box, some rice, a number (this can be as simple as a stickie note with the number on it and an equal amount of anything to play in the rice with. It can be trucks, princesses, cars, pompons, any small little toy they like to play with. Voila! Share this fun activity with any parents you think might find this helpful.
