Canmore. 12” x 16”. Acrylic on canvas. 2025.

I’m always amazed at the views out west. I saw this church steeple from a parking lot in Canmore and was absolutely captivated.

I added a few turkey vultures into the scene because I can’t not paint birds.

Work in progress shot of one of my latest paintings - inspired by my last trip out west, and my first time visiting Canmore.

The Rockies have been calling, and I hope to go back soon.

Process for my latest painting "Fresh tracks".

“Fresh tracks”. 11” x 14”. Acrylic on pine. 2026.

I photographed so many snow covered rocky outcrops on a trip to Collingwood over a decade ago with my aunt, and it was the perfect subject matter to add some fresh tracks to.

A work in progress of my latest painting!

A snow covered rock outcrop with a fresh set of tracks.

Another sketchbook page! King Eider.

02/18/2026

I've been trying to resurrect my sketching practice this year.

Here are some fish and a cormorant skull that I found on the TTP beach while looking for the King Eider earlier this January.

Barred Owl Sketchbook page! I saw two lovely Barred Owls at the beginning of January and knew I had to sketch them.
