This month marks National Indigenous History Month, which shines a spotlight on the history, heritage, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. JUMP Math is proud of the partnerships we have developed with Indigenous educators, students, and communities across Canada, working together to provide teachers and students with culturally appropriate, evidence-based math instruction strategies and resources that honours Indigenous heritage and ways of teaching.

Happy Pride Month! We'd like to recognize all the incredible LGBTQ2S+ parents, caregivers, educators, students, and allies who help create inclusive spaces in schools, where every child can thrive. When we create affirming and accepting environments that empower all students, they can feel confident in their abilities and identity.

Did you know that almost half of Canadian kids are currently missing the mark in math? If this math crisis is not addressed quickly with effective, evidence-based math support, low math achievement will negatively impact their future academic and career opportunities, health outcomes, and financial stability.
Help ensure that every child's full potential can blossom. Support us in building kids' math confidence and skills and create a future where every child has access to equal opportunities for success. Learn more: https://jumpmath.org/ca/let-their-potential-blossom

We're so grateful to receive this testimonial from Ontario teacher, Brian Hewitt about his experience with JUMP Math over the past couple of years!
"JUMP Math was used in my Grade 6 classroom as supplementary material to provide students with additional practice and reinforcement of key math concepts. I found it to be an excellent resource for both teachers and students.
As a teacher, I appreciated how easy it was to use and integrate into my existing program. The materials are well-organized, clearly structured, and flexible enough to support a variety of learning needs.
For students, the JUMP Math approach breaks down complex math concepts into smaller, more manageable steps, making the material easier to understand and less intimidating. The mini-lessons and self-directed format allowed students to work independently while building confidence in their skills.
Overall, JUMP Math is an effective and user-friendly program that supports both teaching and learning by promoting clarity, understanding, and independent practice."

JUMP Math is pleased to offer SpringMath Accelerate, a research-based math intervention solution to help Canadian schools and educators. SpringMath uses a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework to provide screening, progress monitoring, a multi-level prevention system and data-based decision making for individual, class wide, school, or district level support. It can be implemented with any core program you're using to improve student results, but pairs very effectively with JUMP Math’s evidence-based classroom program and resources.

Happy International Women in Mathematics Day! On this day we'd like to recognize and celebrate all the incredible role models for their work in mathematics and being inspirations for young girls across the globe to pursue STEM fields.
To celebrate this day we'd like to recognize Emmy Noether, a prominent female mathematician who made massive strides to abstract algebra. Her work on symmetry and conservation laws, otherwise know as Noether's Theorem, is foundational to modern physics.
