Idolatry is an iniquity to be punished by the judge, being a denial of the God that is above, Job 31:28; Deut. 13:9. That the ex*****on of justice might redound more to the honour of the people. The innocent must be culled out to be the punishers of the guilty, that it might be the more effectual warning to themselves.
Reject idolatry, consecrate yourself to the LORD today, that you might qualify to receive the blessing.
