M6S 9Z9 Yearly, HUHTC offers a variety of relief efforts to help these children.
Help Us Help (Charitable Number 891205940RR0001), is a voluntary, non-profit charitable initiative dedicated to improving the quality of life of children living in orphanages in Ukraine. The purpose and mission of Help Us Help The Children are to provide immediate aid to those most vulnerable in Ukraine - the children. The support of private, institutional, corporate and government sponsors has enabled Help Us Help The Children's dedicated core group of volunteers to commit significant time and energy towards meeting the basic needs of disadvantaged and orphan children in Ukraine. For over 15 years, 200 orphanages, hospitals, rehabilitation centers and clinics have benefited from supplies of medication, food, clothing, educational toys and materials with a value of over 15 million dollars Canadian. After the Chornobyl disaster, thousands of children were orphaned or had extreme medical defects or other difficulties. Volunteers personally visit orphanages throughout Ukraine delivering medication, dental supplies, clothing and new shoes. Winter and summer camps are held to give children a chance to enjoy nature, and develop physical and spiritual activities related to daily living. The Anti-Trafficking chapter mentors the children to the many dangers faced when they leave the orphanages such as prostitution and crime. Our Scholarship chapter gives funds to a number of orphan graduates to further their education and provide them with prospects of a better future.

Thank you Summer Camp 2026 Volunteers!!!🏕️☀️🚞
Help Us Help would not be here today without our dedicated and caring volunteers. For over thirty years, our volunteers have played a crucial role in providing Ukrainian institutionalized and at-risk children with consistency, care, and connection, ensuring every child feels heard, seen, and empowered.
Throughout our Annual Summer Camp Experience, volunteers serve as stable caregivers and are essential to the campers’ well-being, development and overall experience. For every meal, workshop, adventure, and funny moment, our volunteers are there, supporting us in every way and creating a safe, nurturing environment.
Their dedication, hard work and care made Summer Camp 2026 possible. Whether it’s unpacking boxes of supplies, creating camp signage, assembling care bags, or leading educational workshops, we are incredibly grateful for your contributions, and we would not have done it without you!

Our 28th Annual Summer Camp Experience came to an end on August 13, 2026 ⛰️🔊
The final chapter was a bittersweet mix of joy and sadness as we prepared to say goodbye to our wonderful campers, dedicated volunteers, and hardworking team. Tears and laughter filled the air as we celebrated the friendships forged and the adventures shared! 🫶🏼
Over the course of two weeks, our incredible Help Us Help campers showed great spirit and enthusiasm, while our dedicated volunteers ensured that every child felt included and empowered. Behind the scenes, our Canada and Ukraine Teams organized everything with care, and together, we created life-changing experiences for the participants of our Summer Camp program.
As we said our goodbyes, our hearts were full, knowing that although this chapter has ended, the connections, life skills, and friendships will last a lifetime. We made a genuine promise to carry the memories of our summer adventures until we meet again. It is not a goodbye; it is a “see you soon!”

Making Waves 🌊 and Making Memories 🚣🏼♀️
One of the most exciting adventures during our 28th Annual Summer Camp Experience was white-water rafting on the Cheremosh River. With the mountains surrounding them, both camp bases participated and worked together to navigate the waters, encouraging one another along the way.
It was an unforgettable journey filled with excitement, shared triumphs, and a wonderful sense of accomplishment that left us all buzzing with excitement long after we hit the shore!
