Celebrating two emerging designers from X-Design Inc.! 🎉
Earlier this month, John Armstrong and Meaghan Monahan were selected for Interior Design ‘s 30/30 program, recognizing 30 of Toronto’s most promising emerging designers under 30.
Last night, they joined this year’s group for an evening of learning, conversation and connection with fellow designers and members of Toronto’s design community.
We’re incredibly proud to have these two on our team and so happy to see their talent, creativity and hard work recognized.
A special thank you to HOK Canada for hosting the evening, and to Haworth Canada and Luum Textiles for their hospitality and for continuing the celebration with our honourees.

💡 Project Spotlight: TownePlace Suites Victoria Airport
For TownePlace Suites by Marriott Bonvoy Victoria Airport, our goal was to create a space where guests could settle in, relax, and feel at home, whether they were staying for a night or a little longer.
Working alongside the Kothari Group of Companies, our team designed the interiors for this 129-room hotel in Sidney, BC. Inspired by the local surroundings, the design carries a warm, welcoming feel throughout the guestrooms, shared amenities, and back-of-house spaces.
The result is a hotel designed to support comfortable, extended stays while reflecting the character of the surrounding community.

💡Project Spotlight: TownePlace Suites by Marriott
We’re excited to share the completed renovation of the TownePlace Suites London
Working alongside Palm Holdings, our team delivered a Property Improvement Plan (PIP) that refreshed both the public spaces and guestrooms, bringing the hotel in line with Marriott standards while preserving its unique local character.
From updated finishes and furnishings to locally inspired artwork and custom design solutions, every detail was thoughtfully considered to create a more welcoming, cohesive guest experience.
A big thank you to Palm Holdings for their collaboration and trust throughout this project. We’re proud of what we created together!

💡 Project Spotlight: CIBPA Place, Vaughan Ontario
As the demand for senior care continues to grow, so does the need for environments that support both residents and caregivers.
CIBPA Place is a not-for-profit overnight respite centre in Vaughan, designed for adults living with dementia. Set within a restored heritage home, the space provides short-term stays in a safe, familiar setting that helps maintain daily routines while offering meaningful relief for families.
Our team at and Newcombe Design Associates, was proud to contribute to this project. It was made possible through the collective efforts of teams, brought together by who volunteered their services in support of more accessible, community-based care.
A small part of a larger shift in how care is evolving beyond traditional settings.

💡 Project Spotlight: WildBrain + House of Cool
A workplace built for big ideas and the teams behind them.
In 2022, we reimagined Toronto HQ to support hybrid work, introducing flexible workstations, focus zones, and vibrant, brand-driven spaces.
Following the acquisition of , we returned to integrate a new 5,000 sq. ft. studio, balancing two creative identities through custom artwork, upgraded editing suites, and enhanced acoustics and lighting.
The result is a cohesive, high-performing space that feels playful, functional, and easy to move through.
Designed to evolve with the people who use it.
