đź’ˇ Project Spotlight: CIBPA Place, Vaughan Ontario
As the demand for senior care continues to grow, so does the need for environments that support both residents and caregivers.
CIBPA Place is a not-for-profit overnight respite centre in Vaughan, designed for adults living with dementia. Set within a restored heritage home, the space provides short-term stays in a safe, familiar setting that helps maintain daily routines while offering meaningful relief for families.
Our team at and Newcombe Design Associates​, was proud to contribute to this project. It was made possible through the collective efforts of teams, brought together by who volunteered their services in support of more accessible, community-based care.
A small part of a larger shift in how care is evolving beyond traditional settings.

đź’ˇ Project Spotlight: WildBrain + House of Cool
A workplace built for big ideas and the teams behind them.
In 2022, we reimagined Toronto HQ to support hybrid work, introducing flexible workstations, focus zones, and vibrant, brand-driven spaces.
Following the acquisition of , we returned to integrate a new 5,000 sq. ft. studio, balancing two creative identities through custom artwork, upgraded editing suites, and enhanced acoustics and lighting.
The result is a cohesive, high-performing space that feels playful, functional, and easy to move through.

đź’ˇ Project Spotlight: Sutter Hill Amenity Lounge
Amenity spaces are no longer an afterthought in commercial buildings. They’re becoming places where people gather, recharge, and connect throughout the day.
At 48 Yonge Street in Toronto, partnered with Sutter Hill Properties to reimagine several floors of the building, creating interiors that feel warm, cohesive, and contemporary.
At the centre of the transformation is the 12th floor tenant amenity lounge. Designed to host gatherings, training sessions, and events, it also offers tenants a welcoming space to step away from their desks and spend time together.
Drawing inspiration from hospitality environments, the design blends ideas from workplace, retail, and hospitality design to create a space that feels both functional and inviting.
Since completion, leasing activity in the building has increased, showing the real impact thoughtful amenity design can have.

When expanded its Canadian operations, it didn’t just need desks; it needed a new office space. They needed a space that could support high-security work, impress global clients, and give their local team a workplace worth showing up for. 💼
This meant balancing global brand standards with a local pulse, all while working on a tight timeline.

Now? The boardroom’s booked. The tech showcase is making a lasting first impression. The café hub is where teams connect and ideas come to life. It’s a space that works hard, just like the people in it.
