As we close out 2021, there is a lot to reflect on from this past year.

This Porsche GT3 came in for it’s end of year detail before being tucked away for winter courtesy of 👌🏻✨

These pictures speak volumes about the technology of todays electric vehicles. Can you imagine a 75kg electric motor the size of a paint can producing 670 hp and having two of them in your vehicle. Compare that to a V8 engine approximately 500 hp and weighing 300 Kg!

We are back in California at Lucid’s brand new training facility. The Lucid Air is such a beautiful car! Seeing it in person is way better than the pictures. The technology in this car and the range it is capable of is next level. Unfortunately, we are not allowed any pictures inside.

Excellence Auto is thankful for being invited as a guest speaker at this years CCIF webinar series.

As our country’s car park are increasing with electric vehicles, we as collision repair facilities need to know the differences between handling electric vehicles and and gas vehicles.

Mark Millson was very informative and helpful in providing knowledge of electric vehicle repair and safety.

OEM procedures and high voltage safety/awareness is the most important knowledge a shop and their technicians must learn.

During the discussion, I was reminded of a scenario where a blacksmith is making horse shoes while a brand new Ford T drives by. At that point, the blacksmith is thinking that he needs to learn a new skill set I believe that the electric vehicle is synonymous to this scenario.

So glad to be back to our regular training routine. Some of our technicians had the opportunity to go to California to receive factory Porsche training. Nice work guys! 👍🏻
