Loom is a textile studio that offers weaving classes for adults and kids and sells weaving supplies.
Loom is a small weaving studio located in Alton Village run by Johana Cordero, a textile and fashion artist. It is her long time dream to open a textile studio and create a community of like minded folks. Loom is her personal studio space where she experiments with her own projects and creates custom work. In this space she also offers a variety of classes and workshops for weaving and textile enthusiasts and those who are looking to learn for the first time.

So thrilled to finally share my recent work on 🤍
I was brought on to create a series of hand woven pillows for the set, adding warmth, texture, and a hand-crafted feel to the space.
I also collaborated with the set design and props team to develop a realistic and functional weaving learning environment for the school featured in the show—From planning the layout to dressing the looms, everything was designed to feel authentic to a working studio.
I had the opportunity to train the actors in the scene on how to use the looms, which was such a fun and surreal experience seeing it all come to life on camera.
A big congratulations to for the beautiful embroidery work featured in the show, and to for sharing her bobbin lacing expertise with the students.

This rug was brought to me by a client who had purchased it abroad and brought it home thinking that it was finished and secured. When they washed the rug, the weaving came undone, completely unraveling, and ruining this brand new rug.
