At COP28 this week, we announced our latest research unveiling the pivotal role of creativity in the Climate Era.

In September 2023, we surveyed over 2,200 people across the United States, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates and Japan.

Our research explored the following questions:
1. Across the globe, what do people think about the climate crisis?
2. Who is ready and willing to act?
3. What kind of organizational culture supports these individuals?

Our results show that confidence and optimism in our ability to address the climate crisis is low. So where do we find hope? We find a strong relationship between optimism and a creative mindset. Creatively-minded individuals are also more motivated to act and make sustainable efforts. The report offers a roadmap for leaders to foster an organizational culture that will allow these individuals to flourish.

Trick or Treat: It's a Behavioral Scientist at the Door! - Social Science Space 10/31/2023

In a world where choices are influenced by subtle contextual factors, presents an exciting opportunity for behavioral scientists to uncover more about human nature.

What can trick-or-treaters teach us about human ?

One fascinating Halloween revelation unveils our inherent desire to diversify. A study from 1995 showed that humans tend to diversify their choices, even when they may not particularly like the variety. When kids were given the chance to pick candy bars on Halloween, they tended to choose the same one when selecting one at a time but diversified when choosing two at once.

This diversification effect isn't limited to candy. We've seen it in shopping behaviors and even in the investment world. People often seek variety when planning for the long term but stick to the same choices when taking things day by day

So, this Halloween, remember that there's more to this spooky night, it's an opportunity to delve deeper into human nature.

Financial advice from AI may be educational but not holistic, experts say 10/26/2023

A recent RBC poll, conducted by Ipsos, found younger Canadians were much more likely than older demographics to turn to to help manage their finances.

Dr. David Lewis, President of BEworks Research Institute, points out an interesting phenomenon. People tend to feel more at ease sharing their financial details with an AI, finding it especially advantageous for those just embarking on their financial journey.

"We're more willing to be honest with the computer because we don't view a computer as judging us, but we view humans as a judge," he said.

So, the question arises: Could be the future of financial guidance?

Financial expert Kelley Keehn, founder, Money Wise Workplaces recently put ChatGPT to the test to craft a financial plan for a young Canadian family with big dreams but significant debt. While the AI-generated advice offered many recommendations, it lacked the specificity needed for their unique situation.
