Ok, this is the last photo of my photo-dump….i think 😬
This was a walnut cake with an espresso buttercream, caramel, and dark chocolates squares. My only regret is that I didn’t make another one for me to eat because the scrap was just not enough!
This special order was for someone’s 80th birthday. The flavour request was very specific as it’s the cake his late wife made him every year before her passing. I was truly honoured and humbled to be given this task, and so happy to hear that it was well loved and enjoyed by the birthday boy and all his family 🤎

I had a friend and their parents over for dinner a week ago and decided to make some Greek food.
DJ and I officially became friends in grade 9, but we met before then when our martial arts schools used to compete in tournaments. Almost 3 decades later, we are still great friends and still enjoy the company of each others parents ♥️ His parents adore me and my dad reminds him that he needs to make him more hot sauce 😂 It’s truly a wonderful friendship!

It’s been a minute since I’ve posted but I’m back, baby! 😘
Tonight’s dinner: Super Salad with Pork Schnitzel
The salad included: kale, chickpeas, red peppers, avocado, quinoa, cucumbers, pickled red onions (homemade), boiled eggs, green onions and feta, topped with a homemade Dijon dressing.
The kids loved it, Dom and I loved it, and we all left the table feeling satisfied and full!

Tonight’s dinner: fresh casareccia pasta in a homemade pesto cream sauce, topped with burrata and grilled chicken thighs.
This was an easy and quick dinner to pull together on a day I didn’t have a lot of turnaround time between work ending and dinner time starting.

The result of a friend asking me to test out a new cheese. Grazing plates made with a truffle cheese.
The first plate was made with puff pastry wrapped around the cheese, baked and placed on top of cooked onions, garlic and cherry tomatoes in a balsamic glaze. It was paired with mild salami, olives, and crostini made with homemade bread.
For the second plate I pan seared the tomino and topped it off with pistachio, honey and some thyme. I paired this with spicy salami, pears, Persian cucumbers, cranberry crackers, and the same homemade crostini as the first plate.
