Headshot Update :: Brett McCaig

Brett is the one person on the planet who can instantly reduce me to a six-year-old on hotdog day just by walking into the room. If you know him, you understand.

It had been a minute since our last visit, so needless to say we giggled like it was hotdog day in grade two.

Brett came in for a professional headshot update here in Toronto, and it was great catching up while creating something that represents him well.

Thanks for the trust Brett — you’re the greatest.

I photographed Louise Pitre for the official production photo that will appear on the marquee for Kimberly Akimbo at the CAA Theatre in Toronto, in January 26.

Louise was relaxed, sharp, and completely clear in front of the camera — shifting from control to vulnerability in a heartbeat. It made the whole session flow effortlessly.

She brings real charm and energy to Kimberly, a teenager who ages faster than she should but faces life with wit and grit. The show is currently running at the Segal Centre in Montreal and arrives in Toronto early next year.

Looking forward to seeing it!!

Oct 25, 25 :: Saturday night’s light on the CN Tower was in honour of the 873 Foundation — celebrating the life of my nephew Tyler Coleiro and supporting families in crisis and kids in sport. From the lakeshore of Toronto’s skyline I stand with hope, memory and a promise.

W Joseph Matheson :: What a treat to get Joe into the studio last week. More dashing now than when we first met 30 years ago. In all that time we have had dinners, drinks, and countless hours in auditions and waiting rooms but not yet worked on the same contract. His heart is as big as Saskatchewan.
