In honour of Sergio Ráez Villanueva completing IRONMAN Canada-Ottawa this past weekend, check out our full video of his inspiring 2026 Quebec Mega Trail (QMT) and the Athletics Canada National Trail Championships.
Setting out to secure a spot on Team Canada, Sergio faced grueling heat, technical trails, and severe exhaustion at the QMT 80km race this July. In those moments, Sergio chose pure joy and resilience over defeat, powering through 80 kilometers of pain with an infectious smile and a true Canadian spirit, because in his own words: "It doesn’t matter where you are from, it matters where you are."
