Always enough food and always a seat at our table ❤️ Growing up, my Mom made EPIC meals! I mean EPIC! I would ask if we were having guests and she always said, you never know! Now, I bring meals to share with Mom in her long term care home and we always have enough to share ❤️🙏🏼 Aangen was built on generosity and compassion. I’ll always be grateful for these teachings and being able to share them.

In 2012 Aangen developed a deep and meaningful relationship with food banks and began its work in feeding people in their time of need. Running into a community member who celebrated meals, dancing and so many fun moments brought so much joy to my heart ❤️ Thank you for so many wonderful memories 🙏🏼

My Mother showed me how to build community, how to invite people into our family’s Aangen (Sanskrit word for the courtyard of a home). She showed me how to open my heart fully and serve with love ❤️ Please join me in celebrating Mom’s birthday, her vision that the world could be a safe, loving place. She gave us the gift of Aangen and it’s my life’s honour to bring it to us all ❤️🙏🏼

So happy to hear that Aangen’s BOGO (buy one gift one) meals have landed in Amherstburg supporting the Fellowship & Food Mission and St. Vincent De Paul church. Food security champions like Sarah help so many people in their local communities. We love to collaborate with local heroes! One love ❤️

My first volunteer “job” at age 9 was in the Tibetan Refugee Camp called “Happy Valley” in the Himalayan town of Mussoorie, India. Today is Tibetan National Uprising Day and my heart is full of love ❤️ and support for the freedom of Tibet. Freedom from oppression is a global human right! Let’s make it a reality 🙏🏼
