This Wednesday!!

IJM x OneChurch.to 🤝
Partnership learning night on June 10th

International Justice Mission (IJM) has a mission to protect people in poverty from violence by rescuing victims, bringing criminals to justice, restoring survivors to safety and strength, and helping local law enforcement build a safe future that lasts.

OneChurch.to has been partnering with IJM for over the past 3 years and our church community has supported this work with providing $25,000 each of those years!

In June, we have an opportunity to learn more about this trusted LoveGlobal partner with our first LoveGlobal Learning Night. IJM will come and present and take part in a short Q&A so you can learn more about this important partnership. This night is open to anyone who wants to learn more about IJM! No registration required!

Details:
Date: Wednesday, June 10th
Location: The Loft
Doors Open: 6:30 pm
Event: 6:45 pm - 8:15 pm

See you then! 💙

Last week, we celebrated the graduation of our 2025 interns. 🎓

Since September, they’ve grown in their faith, stepped out in courage, served faithfully, and embraced every opportunity to learn and grow.

Looking at their first photo compared to now (last slide) all we can think of is how proud we are of this group! You’ve accomplished so much. Excited to see where God leads them next. ❤️

Congratulations, grads! We’re cheering you on every step of the way! 🎉

We celebrate with 12 individuals from our community who got baptized this past week!! 🥹

Last week Wednesday - a couple of individuals that had journeyed through in Follow Wednesdays, Alpha and/ or community groups made the decision to be baptized & on Friday 3 youth took the step to publicly declare that they were choosing to follow Jesus.

Baptism is an outward expression of an inward decision, a way to publicly declare that you’re choosing to let go of your old ways of living and deciding to live a life following Jesus. What a week it was! 🥹🌊

Congratulations everyone!

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leila Savoury on Thursday April 30, 2026, at Markham Stouffville hospital at the age of 76.

Leila will be forever loved and remembered by her mother Thelma Shepherd, and her dear siblings James Batson (Effie) and Rita Greenidge (Dolston). She was a devoted and loving mother to Dwayne (Rhonda), Trevor (Avril) and Yolande (Raymond), who were her constant source of pride and joy in her life. Leila was a proud and cherished grandmother to Trey, Austin, Alika, Aden, Olivia and Abigale.

She will be deeply missed by her extended family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though she is gone, the love she gave and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
