The Region of Waterloo Library recently announced their local history collection has moved to a new VITA website for improved access and research capabilities. The collections include many local resources like the Tweedsmuir history books from the Ayr and Central Dumfries Women’s Institute groups, photo collections, church histories, and historical maps.

The Ontario Land Records Index (OLRI) is now available free of charge online—thanks to OGS Toronto Branch volunteers, Internet Archive, Archives of Ontario, and OurDigitalWorld. The OLRI is an index to settlers who were allocated Crown land in the province over more than 100 years, from the 1780s to the early 20th century.
