'Raphael: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle #1', published in 1985 by Mirage Studios. Written and illustrated by TMNT creators Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, this issue features Raphael taking on the Foot Clan and introducing readers to the world of these four pizza-loving, crime-fighting turtles.This issue also marks the first appearance of the vigilante Casey Jones, who becomes a recurring ally of the Turtles.
