A space for Frontline Workers to come together in face of stress, grief, loss, and imbalance.
Are you a front line worker who is struggling to cope with the losses of people you know and work with? Are you feeling overwhelmed trying to balance your workload and taking care of yourself? No matter how long have been working in the field, we all experience grief, loss, stress and imbalance. The Frontline Worker Support Group is a monthly guided meeting for people looking for support from work
ers across Toronto. We will come together as shelter workers, drop in and outreach workers, needle exchange workers, clinicians, peer support workers etc. to speak about the realities of our roles and find support from one another. We hope to create a space that looks for healing and balance, strategies for managing workloads, resiliency and self care, to build community and peer to peer support in the process.
