The 78 year old Nigerian Man you see in this photo di3d in the US last year when he visited Edna, his last daughter who is my follower.

On the 11th of July, 2025.

His name is Mr. Sylvester Ekwueme and he was a retired executive with the now defunct Niger insurance.

Edna is the 29 year old lady photographed next to him here.

Edna had relocated to the US in 2023 for studies and was still trying to settle in, sorting utility bills, tuition fees and green card acquisition.

Her father's sudden death in her small studio apartment in Kansas was like the surreal realization of a very bad dream.

Before she called 911 services to have the Coroner come over and certify her father dead, shortly before his body was moved to the morgue, Edna managed to call home to break the news to her older siblings in Nigeria.

Her family flew into grief, and it took the grace of God for their elderly mother(who was staying with her elder brother in Portharcourt) not to also join her husband in the great beyond.

Now the ultimate question was:

How do we fly daddy's body back home?

Edna was only a student struggling to pay up tuition fee loans, tax and her basic upkeep in the US.

Cost of flying the body from the US to Murtala Mohammed international airport in Lagos was approximately N36 million in naira when converted.

Morgue service fees for the first month alone for a resident who had no insurance was approximately almost N3 million in naira when converted.

The entire Ekwueme extended family in Nigeria home and abroad didn't even have up to N2 million.

What was going to happen now?

But it gets worse.

The Umunna and Umuada village people of Nkpor, Anambra where the family hailed from, sent an envoy with a 'burial list' to the surviving head of the Ekwueme family who was their uncle— their father's surviving older brother.

The total cost of items amounted to N18.5 million.

Mind you, this didn't include the cost for the burial ceremony which these same Umunna insisted must be 'befitting' for a titled elder of their clan.

3 cows had to be slaughtered amongst other things.

Edna's eldest brother did a rough estimate of what this funeral event would cost and arrived at another N11 million.

So the total gross estimate of the funds needed to bury Mr. Ekwueme here was almost N70 million.

And guess what?

The whole responsibility of everything was on ONLY one person:

The last child in America.

29 year old Edna.

No body cared to acknowledge that Edna was just a student struggling to survive over there.

She was in the US and hence had dollars to spend!

Infact one of her uncles boldly commanded her to take bank loans and bury her father— that after all, single women weren't supposed to relocate without their husbands. What was she saving her money for as a single woman if not to bring honour to her family back at home?

Poor Edna couldn't even focus in school anymore due to family pressure and at some point wanted to drop out.

She contacted me on Facebook with tears asking for my advice.

The first question I asked her was this:

Did her father EVER collect a share of any money or items obtained from the family of any deceased person in that village?

Edna explained that her father hardly ever visited the village, and during his active working years, they kept trying to entice him to the village with one chieftaincy title or the other, but the man never was interested.

All his life, her father always opened criticized what the Umunna did, demanding for money from the family of the deceased before allowing them bury their loved one at home.

I asked her another question:

Did your village ever contribute anything towards your father's education, career or personal growth?

Edna heaved and told me that her grandfather had grown up in Jos, Plateau and had birthed her now late father there.

Growing up, her family had mostly lived within the northern states of Plateau, Nassarawa, Adamawa and Abuja. He even had 2 personal properties there in Abuja

I consulted my spirit guides, and gave her my answer:

Worry about offsetting the morgue bills in the US and cremate your father's remains there in the US and keep his ashes in a beautiful urn in your room so his spirit will always be near you.

Your father's last clothes can be taken back to Nigeria and buried in any of his properties in Abuja since there was no law prohibiting burying clothes in one's own property.

She could also sprinkle his ashes around his compound in Nigeria too if we wished.

A memorial service would also be held for him in any of his compounds in Abuja or in his hometown if they pleased.

Let the lazy Umunna go and look for work.

She hesitated, but I assured her to stand her ground and announce her decision.

2 days later, Edna called me to tell me that she had informed her uncles and the Umunna of her stance on her father's burial process and they had screamed abomination.

She calmly told them that she didn't have the money to do anything of such, or did they prefer to sell her late father's properties in Abuja or any ancestral land belonging to their family in the village to foot the burial bill?

Her uncles said that the land and properties belonged to the first and second son as well as all the male heirs of their kindred, and couldn't be sold.

They gave her the ultimatum to cough out N70 million for everything and warned her that if the father's body was cremated in foreign land and not shipped back home, she wouldn't see her next birthday.

If the Umunna weren't settled, her father's spirit would never find rest and she would not bear any child.

She would either fall sick within a year and d!e or pass on during child birth.

Edna was scared.

But I gave her strength, guided her and kept her spirit firm.

She did exactly as I told her, cremated her father's body in the US, flew down to Nigeria sometime in October last year to carry out everything I told her.

We met in Abuja and I blessed her.

Today is August 23, 2026, exactly 13 months since her father passed.

Edna is debt-free.

Edna is healthy.

Edna is working in an insurance firm in Seattle.

Above all, Edna has successfully delivered a set of bouncing boy and girl twins.

And the Umunnas and Umuadas in Nkpor, Anambra state are still looking for helpless families of deceased persons to exploit and milk.

: Rehearse even when no one’s watching. E.g. 20 mins of voice work every morning.
