Our Community Risk Reduction team gathered at the Toronto Fire Academy recently, building skills and raising nearly $1,000 for Camp BUCKO’s burn camp for kids. 👏

Please join us in congratulating Ian Williams on his appointment as Deputy Fire Chief, Communications, Technology and Organizational Performance. Ian joins Toronto Fire Services after serving as Director of Information Management for the Toronto Police Service. He is a nationally recognized leader in police data analytics, known for pioneering the use of data to strengthen operations, strategy, and public trust.

Toronto Fire Services attended the Toronto Caribbean Carnival launch event recently. Our Recruitment & Outreach, Community Risk Reduction and Communications staff were on hand to provide fire safety and career information to attendees.

Permits are required to set off fireworks on your own backyards for all days, other than Canada Day and Victoria Day 📅
Report unauthorized fireworks to 311 📞
