MOTHER TONGUE | Nuit Blanche Toronto 2025
“Mother Tongue” explored how language carries memory, identity, and belonging — especially for people living between cultures.

Set in East Danforth, the installation invited visitors to walk through layered portraits and floating words in different languages — Arabic, English, and many others — creating a poetic space of translation and emotion.

People from all backgrounds joined by writing words in their own mother tongue, turning the piece into a living archive of stories, nostalgia, and connection.

What started as an exploration of lost meanings became a celebration of community, language, and art — reminding us how every word, accent, and silence carries home within it.

Big Thanks to everyone who helped and to everyone who attended and supported.

In a world overloaded with stuff, minimalism in interior design is a breath of fresh air .
It’s not just about clean lines and empty spaces—it’s a lifestyle choice. It's about creating calm, intentional spaces that bring clarity, comfort, and focus.

Think of neutral palettes, functional furniture, natural light, and open space. Everything has a purpose. Nothing is there “just because.”
