Join us this Sunday from 1-4PM as we gather in Gaza Square for an Art Build to support the Mask off Maersk initiative.

The Palestinian Youth Movement's campaign to Cut Ties with Genocide is a fight against Maersk, one of the world's largest shipping and logistics companies that directly facilitates the weapons trade. Without Maersk, Israel would not have the weapons to commit its genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.

We will also be holding a teach in on how to purchase and donate e-sims to people in Gaza.

Refreshments, masks and art supplies will be available.

El movimiento de jóvenes palestinos (PYM) ha lanzado una nueva campaña en contra de Maersk para cortar lazos con el Genocido. Maersk es una de las compañías de transporte y logística más grandes del mundo que facilita directamente el comercio de armas. Sin Maersk, Israel no tendría armas para cometer su genocidio en Gaza.

También tendremos una charla sobre cómo comprar y donar e-sims a personas en Gaza.

Habrá bocadillos, máscarillas y materiales de arte disponibles.

Hola compa! PODER is joining and on Saturday for the marcha in solidarity with Palestina. This rally will commemorate Al-Quds Day, an annual event held on the last Friday of Ramadan, and will happen at 2:30 pm at 361 University Ave.

In preparation for the big day we are hosting an Art Build for Palestina tomorrow Friday April 5th, from 5pm to 8pm at 1541 Davenport Road.

We will have some materials, coffee/tea and PPE that will be provided. Bring snacks or anything you would like to share! Drop-in any time and join us!

Hola compa! PODER se une a y el sábado para la marcha en solidaridad con Palestina. Esta manifestación conmemorará el Día de Al-Quds, un evento anual que se celebra el último viernes del Ramadán, y tendrá lugar a las 3 pm en 361 University Ave.

En preparación para el gran día, organizaremos un evento para hacer posters juntes para Palestina mañana viernes 5 de abril, de 5 pm a 8 pm en 1541 Davenport Road.

Tendremos algunos materiales, café/té y EPP disponibles. Trae snacks o cualquier cosa que quieras compartir! Unete en cualquier momento y únete a nosotros!

PODER Afro y Abya Yala Fuerza Feminista is a grassroots organization that aims to create anti-oppressive, and community-building spaces that explicitly prioritize Afrodescendiente, Indígena, 2Spirit, Q***r and Trans, Non-Binary, Gender Non-Conforming, Agender, Mad, Crip, and Sick and Disabled voices for people with roots to the Latin American and Caribbean / Abya Yala / Anáhuac / Tawantinsuyo diaspora.

En medio del dolor por la violencia en Gaza, nos unimos a demandar un cese inmediato y permanente al fuego y poner fin a la ocupación israelí en Palestina.
Nos solidarizamos con comunidades oprimidas en Palestina, Sudán, Congo, Armenia, Panamá, Cuba, Haití, Nicaragua, Tigray, Hawai’i, y buscamos justicia para todas las comunidades impactadas por violencia y opresión colonial.

Seguiremos protestando, organizando con la comunidad, y apoyaremos campañas centradas en la verdad y en busca de justicia para Palestina y todos las comunidades violentadas por la fuerza colonial.

Compartiremos recursos para una PALESTINA LIBRE. Estos recursos incluyen una biblioteca virtual con libros acerca de Palestina y el entendimiento de la historia de su ocupación, documentos en solidaridad a través de Abya Yala a Palestina, y más recursos para nuestra fuerza colectiva. As we witness with deep pain the ongoing violence from the occupation in Gaza and genocide, we join our communities in calling for an immediate and permanent ceasefire and end the ongoing colonial occupation of Palestine.

We stand in solidarity with oppressed communities in Palestine, Sudan, Congo, Armenia, Panama, Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, Tigray, Hawai’i and all communities experiencing colonial oppression.

We will continue protesting, organizing and sharing campaigns focused on truth and seeking justice for Palestine and for all communities experiencing colonial oppression.

We will share resources to activate our communities in demanding for a FREE PALESTINE. These resources include a virtual library with books pertaining to Palestine and understanding the history of occupation, solidarity across Turtle Island, Abya Yala and Palestine, as well as grounding and somatic resources for our collective healing. We will also include direct actions to continue the efforts for a free Palestine.

There will food, a movement break and you will have the opportunity to help us shape this upcoming year and welcome new Board Members. Child minding will be available during the event.
