On Monday, Copernicus Lodge held its Annual General Meeting, a time to reflect on the past year and look ahead to what’s next. 🙏

The evening also marked a bittersweet farewell to Andrew Kwiatkowski, long-serving Board Director and Chair of the Copernicus Lodge Foundation.

Andrew’s years of dedication, leadership, and unwavering support have left a lasting impact on our organization and the lives of those we serve. We are truly grateful. ❤️

Seniors Month is here, and we’re kicking it off in the most beautiful way! 🎨

June is Seniors Month in Canada, a time to celebrate the contributions, talents, and achievements of the incredible older adults in our communities. This year, we’re opening the Exhibit Wall of our very own resident artist, Louis Itiniant! 🖼

Louis was born in Windsor in 1929 and spent his career in radio engineering and computer science. It wasn’t until the COVID-19 pandemic that he discovered his passion for art, developing a truly one-of-a-kind style he describes as “encapsulating phrases within art.” His minimalist pieces may seem simple at first glance, but each one holds layers of meaning, inviting every viewer to find their own story within them. 💛

We are also so grateful to our volunteer, Mr. Henry, whose dedication and hard work brought this exhibit to life. This is what community looks like.

The exhibit is open for all residents, families, visitors, and staff to enjoy. Come see it for yourself and experience something truly special!! 🙏
