Hydrate well before, and in hot weather you really get to see if the internal air conditioner is running smoothly (sweating). If it’s really working, and you’ve been training more than an hour, throw some electrolytes in that water to replenish.
Injured?? Still keep moving. It’s better for recovery, mental sanity, and you won’t lose the gains that you’ve been working so hard to attain up until now.
Nature has built this in us. More movement, muscles release myokines which reduce inflammation, speed up healing, and you won’t be a sitting duck in the Savannah because you kept on moving 😎
