The LEE Filters works well in harsh midday sunlight - traditionally considered an unfavourable time to shoot. However, with this filter the softness that arises from any movement contrasts pleasingly with areas of bright light, creating an effect rarely seen before now.

The LEE Filters gives increased flexibility with exposure times in lower light at the start and end of the day. Detail and texture can be retained in areas of movement such as the sky and water, while still conveying a sense of time passing.

By greatly extending exposure times, the LEE Filters has the effect of allowing anything that is moving in your image to become blurred or ghost like, for example clouds, waterfalls, rivers, and the sea.

The LEE Filters Reverse ND has been specifically designed to give photographers full control over images shot at the beginning and end of the day. They have a stronger density in the centre of the filter, with a carefully designed transition zone that gives a natural, balanced exposure to the sky.

LEE Filters Wide-Angle Adaptor Rings are suitable for use with wide-angle lenses. They differ from the Standard Adaptor Ring by sitting closer to the front element of the camera’s lens, dramatically reducing the likelihood of vignetting on lenses with a focal length of 16mm or more.

The LEE Filters reduces the amount of light being transmitted to the camera’s sensor. Most commonly used to darken bright skies in order to balance the exposure.

The LEE Filters Mist Grad provides a graduated mist effect that can be positioned precisely in the composition.
Creatively it provides a unique way to remove distracting backgrounds and to clean up the overall look and feel of an image. It can be perfect for photographers looking for minimal compositions where "less is more".

The LEE Filters IRND range sets a whole new standard in high quality glass neutral density filters.
These filters are remarkably neutral, with virtually no colour shift and extremely accurate stop values. And because they block both infrared and ultraviolet pollution, blacks remain pure and clean, while colours are crisp, punchy and vibrant.
