What started out as an idea that sprung out of nowhere during a cold, rainy walk in mid-February, into its launch just three weeks later, it’s hard to believe next week will turn six months since I launched In Moda Veritas.
In six months, I’ve published 52 (!) newsletters to over 2,000 (!) subscribers, through which I’ve shared my styling philosophy and expertise, and how to bring your own style to life as a living, breathing, evolving part of you.
I’ve shown you What I’m Wearing, and my thought process behind it. I’ve answered your Ask Me Anything questions and shared with you stories of Silent Witnesses. I’ve taken you to Guadeloupe, Korea and Japan.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you to each and everyone of you who have subscribed and contributed to its evolution. It has been a privilege to write for you and a renewing source of creativity for me.

In my last newsletter, I shared the three levels of effort I put into an outfit: zero, minimal, and reasonable. While I try to flex my styling muscles and offer up considered and original outfits, some of you said you’d like to see more “minimal effort” outfits because that’s a major portion of your everyday life. And I get it, because school runs, causal hangouts, and running unglamorous but necessary errands is also my reality!
So, in an effort to keep it 💯, I imagined myself facing my closet and needing to run out of the house asap. What could I put together in a moment’s notice, without much thought and no time to experiment?
Well, I managed to put together 21 minimal effort, casual outfits in under an hour (and took 100 photos 😃), and I share them with you, along with my styling notes, in my latest newsletter.
