It’s time to answer an age-old question! What is the difference between TRIAC/line voltage and 0-10V dimming?

The main distinction between the two is that 0-10V dimming requires a low voltage line, which can be more expensive and unsuitable for retrofits. This means the contractor would have to run additional wiring, adding extra time and cost to the installation. On the other hand, TRIAC only requires a power line, which is more efficient and cost-effective.

The aluminum version of the durable, weatherproof zinc electrical box (VXJ), known in the industry as the “RAB Box”, which has been the number one choice of contractors since its introduction in the 1960s.
