Floating on an ocean breeze

Words to quiver the fragile leaves
And taste the vintage wine

To stand before the unveiled light
And glance into forever
Swirling through the mists of time
The sacral breath sustains you
Waiting for the hallowed sign
To nourish, guide and save you
A soul a spirit a Sufi
A dancer on the wind
A life at long last set free

A splintered soul
A wounded heart
So many years of abuse
But her heart still felt love
Drowning in pain
Filled with compassion
From unspeakable cruelty
Came incredible beauty
A strong beautiful woman
A vulnerable little girl
Assaulted by ugly words
Creating exquisite art
Rising out of darkness
