🏆Congratulations to our client Konsta Housseas for being selected in the 2026 OHL Priority Selection with !
So awesome to see someone working with us when they were young, and now becoming a star. Proud being part of your journey, and we’re not done yet – the dream goes much further than just this.
Konsta has been training with us since 2022 at 12 years old (some throwback videos)
He was a shy kid.
He was not talented.
He was small, and slow.
He didn’t get all the playing time, he wasn’t the favourite.
But his dad knew, in order to stand out, he had to do things differently.
That’s when we mapped out a 3-year plan for him to follow.
Konsta came in, worked out, barely took a vacation during the summers, every summer.
4 years later, he’s taller, he’s stronger, he’s fast, he’s injury free.
He’s called the enforcer. His mental fortitude is solid.
Competitors are scared of him, and teammates respect him.
He hits hard, and we’re so proud to see his dedication, focus, and discipline on his way to the Pros.

🏆 National Canadian Championship for our client Eric Peng. Was his dream this BIG? Let me share with you a story about Eric.
When Eric first came into LPS, his dream was to be able to qualify for provincials (Ontario). Soft spoken, barely even done any Olympic Weightlifting movements before. We told him it will be hard, but he didn't realize how hard it would be to be at that level of power that less than 0.1% of people can achieve.
He trusted the process, showed up to every session dinged up or not. He pushed past injuries. It was so bad at one point that his body was hurting every step he made. But we made sure he knew it was part of the adaptation process. He kept going, he pushed through modified programs.
He started to heal faster, he started to feel better, and he started to lift more.
He won provincials, and qualified for nationals.
Years later, now today, he became a Junior National Champion. He's more confident than ever. He's less shy. He walks around with great posture.
Failure in sports have taught him resilience, and its more than just a thing that drags you down. He experienced it, so he's now stronger to deal with more adversity in his life.
The power of dreaming, and having the right people by your side to guide you to exceeding those dreams.
If you're very tight, or looking to improve your overall mobility, this exercise will change everything for you if done repeatedly. This is a go-to exercise we recommend for every workout and every day, and we've even given it to athletes to do in their dorms. We call this approach “LPS Yoga.”
If you’re looking for one exercise to help build explosive strength and power, then this is definitely worth adding to your training program. Especially when done correctly.
Power is the best strength quality for developing speed, and reactive strength is crucial for athletes. How quickly you get off the ground while running is largely genetic but can be developed through dedicated training. While athletes need a certain amount of strength, power is what makes it easier to build reactive strength.
Technique is important, but building that foundational strength is imperative to get them to perform with optimal technique.

🏆 Congrats to our client Alicia Chen for coming first at the US Kids Golf Tournament U12 Girls at Willodell Golf Club with a round of 74.
Alicia’s parent were initially worried about using weights, semi-private coaching at such a young age and an lingering foot pain for years, but we asked them to put trust in us and commit.
They agreed, driving from Markham (30-40 mins), 4x a week during rush hour to get to the gym. Alicia at first was shy, but we welcomed her and praised her efforts. She failed a few times at the beginning, but we encouraged her to pick herself back up. Learning new things, making new friends, and fitting right into the culture. She worked hard, love competing, and challenging herself.
In a short time, she has more balance with her body, she’s swinging it a lot faster (driving greens!!! see video), no more foot pain, and best of all, she’s become more confident (more birdies)! That’s what we love to see. So proud and happy for her first win of the season.
