Working harder ≠ working better.
If your HVAC system is running constantly but the building still isn't comfortable, ΔT is one of the first things worth checking. It's the gap between the temperature going out and the temperature coming back and it tells you whether your system is actually delivering heat or just moving water around.
Healthy ΔT: around 11°C Poor ΔT: around 3°C
A low number means higher energy use, higher operating costs, and lower efficiency usually all at once.
Property managers: do you know what your building's ΔT looks like right now?
We're doing free pre-winter walkthroughs this fall. We'll find the inefficiencies before they show up on your January bill.

MYTH: "We installed a 95% boiler, so the plant is operating at 95%."
REALITY: Condensing performance depends on your reset schedule and system design not the nameplate rating. Plenty of high-efficiency boilers never condense at all.

Before you flip from cooling to heating mode: are your BAS schedules, setpoints and changeover sequences actually doing what you think they're doing?

Pre-winter maintenance that actually matters, not a checkbox exercise:
01 Boiler burner and combustion check 02 Water treatment and chemistry 03 Pump and VFD inspection 04 MUA damper, freezestat and filter check 05 Document everything
That last one is what tells you when something's about to fail.

"Pre-season inspection" is vague. Here's what it actually means:
Boilers and burners · Heating-water pumps · Steam traps and controls · VAV and terminal boxes · BAS changeover sequences
It is simply a standard/benchmark and is not mandatory or legally required
