I approach my whisky tasting events with the philosophy that whisky enjoyment is subjective and dependent upon an individual's palate. I will not suggest that one type of whisky is better than another, and I do not buy into a traditional elitist approach to whisky drinking. During the tasting, I speak to the differences between the samples we try, how they are produced & how this influences the flavour.
