The end to an era.

In 1995, Lambros Vassiliou had one vision:
To create a truly authentic Greek restaurant with dishes from his childhood, and in an atmosphere that made you feel like you were in his home.
For twenty one years, Avli has been a cornerstone of Greek cuisine, and a landmark in Greektown on the Danforth.

The time has come for Chef Lambros to retire and although it brings us great sadness to see the end of an era, we will always carry a piece of Avli in our hearts and memories.

The entire management and staff would like to thank each and everyone who have dined with us over the last twenty one years. We are truly grateful and honoured to have had you join us on this amazing journey.
