Adding to the urban fabric of Leslieville are the red brick volumes alternating with the patterned glass panels of The George. Tapering off above are white-precast clad setbacks. The collection of mid-rise and town homes have added gentle density to this vibrant area of Queen East, including a mixture of Retail and landscaped planters out front. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Last weekend, we celebrated the grand opening of the Aurora Cultural Centre and Aurora Town Square – a project we are very proud to have contributed to alongside .
The Grand Opening, which spans multiple weeks, will showcase the diverse range of arts-programming the 32,000 square-foot addition and 29,000 square-foot outdoor community space make possible in the heart of downtown Aurora.

We had an amazing week at the 4th annual RAW Design summer camp, Diversity in Design 2024! A huge thank you to all the incredible students, volunteers, and team members who helped bring this event to life. This year’s camp was supported by the . Together, we explored the world of design, visited iconic Toronto landmarks, and created a lot of memories. The future of design is bright, and we’re excited to be a part of it.

Diversity in Design is a free one-week program for students from grade 6-12 that engages them in hands-on learning activities facilitated by our staff. Through interactive workshops, design challenges, and collaborative projects, we encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Over the course of the past year, you may have noticed some action at the corner of Geary and Somerset Avenue – that’s because we’ve undertaken transforming what was once an auto body shop into a cool mixed-use project with our office on top. Here’s a sneak peak at the progress we’ve made thus far.

Today! Jon Jeronimus, partner at RAW, will be talking about the Broom Factory at London’s City of Music Conference, and how we transformed a once derelict heritage building into a cool and vibrant cultural hub in Kingston. He’ll be joined by the Kingston Canadian Film Festival and Tourism Kingston.

Biolumen is an art installation inspired by tiny sea creatures called Radiolaria. These microscopic animals, whose name means "small Sun beam," have beautiful skeletons made of silica found on the ocean floor. The installation explores the partnership between Radiolaria and algae, where sunlight helps create sugars to sustain them.​​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​​.chaddah
