About the Book:

On Tuesday morning, two of our rabbis were stopped on a Toronto sidewalk by
people with their phones up, asking whether they support genocide in Gaza.
"They weren't asking because they wanted an answer. They were asking because
they wanted a clip."
On Shabbat Shuvah, Rabbi Steven Wernick read Ha'azinu โ Moshe's last words,
delivered as a song because a song outlives the people who witnessed it โ
and asked what our own words are becoming.
His charge: don't shout back, and don't go silent. Ask one question.

What a night! ๐ถโจ
โVoices of Aweโ at Beth Tzedec was absolutely unforgettable - and performing to a sold-out room was pure magic.
Putting this concert together was such a special project for me. Huge thanks to our incredible music director Asher Farber, our brilliant musicians, the choir, and our wonderful guest artists Cantor Tibor Kovari, Lily Librach and Ari Posner. A very special thank you to Shari Teichman, our stage manager and my right hand in producing this concert! You all brought so much heart and talent to the stage!
A big thank you to the Beth Tzedec team for being such amazing partners in making this happen, and of course to everyone in the audience who came out and made the night so warm and electric.
