Happy Release Day to the fabulous Georgian Bay! Courage Vol. 1: Soleil is officially out today. Felicitations! Toronto launch with full band at Burdock tonight. Thanks to Toronto Guardian for this little feature on the band.
"Five Minutes With" Toronto Bilingual Folk Band Georgian Bay Courage is a two-volume album which fuses elements of electronic, jazz and chamber music to Georgian Bay's folk roots. The first volume, "Soleil" is a celebration of light and hope amidst the shadows of these uncertain times.

New music from Kiran Ahluwalia is coming up in this hour on CBC's Big City Small World. New album 7 Billion deepens the bond with Malian sounds while incorporating elements of R'n'B, rock, jazz and gospel. And if features an all-star band incl. Rez Abbasi, Rich Brown, Louis Simão, and Davide Direnzo. Kiran will bring her beautiful LOVEfest project to the GTA in April:
