On July 1st, hurricane Beryl hit Grenada, Carriacou, Petite Martinique, Union Island and Mayreau, leaving people without shelter, power, water and food. Compassion Transportation Services Inc. would like to send aid to these islands to help them navigate this awful disaster. We are asking the community to support us with this endeavour.

Transportation Drivers Needed

Compassion Transportation Services Inc. is a family owned transportation company for seniors and people with mobility challenges. We pride ourselves on delivering reliable and exceptional services to our clients. Drivers must be able to demonstrate our Core Values (inclusivity, responsibility, client focused, teamwork, communication) while ensuring our clients get safely to and from their appointments on a daily basis. We ensure our employees are treated with respect by management, clients and in the community.

We are seeking a Transportation Driver to join our team!

Wage: $17.00 per hour
Position type: Casual/Part-time
Working Conditions:
• Available Monday to Friday
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to push and maneuver wheelchairs
• Ability to bend and safely secure wheelchairs
• Routes operate between the hours of 7:00am and 6:00pm

Job Description:
• Drivers are responsible for safely transporting clients to and from appointments. Successful candidates must be committed to safety and customer service.
• Assist clients in and out of vehicles
• Drivers must be able to pick up and drop off vehicles at main hub
• Drivers must have a passion for working with seniors and people with disabilities.
• Drivers must be comfortable with map navigation and have a good understanding of Brampton, Mississauga, Etobicoke, North York and Toronto
• Drivers must inspect vehicles daily and complete Vehicle Safety Checklist

Requirements:
• Valid G license in good standing
• Organized, punctual and reliable
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Working knowledge of the city and map reading skills
• Positive work history interacting with people, especially seniors
• Commitment to excellence
• Experience working with seniors
• First Aid/CPR
• Vulnerable Police Clearance check
