Today I am taking some time to do something creative. Making a small but very sparkly veil is just the right thing to do.

This piece is so special to me because my daughter will be wearing it for her First Communion. I wanted to create something unique and still wearable for more than one night. I decided on a white leather headband and added white floral lace appliqués to it. I had to de-construct my own floral wreath that I wore and attach each flower to her head band one by one. I added fresh water pearls on the top and I will then add more florals in between.

I have been a little quiet on here lately, but only because I have been busy making beautiful items for my Etsy shop. This year I wanted to make an ornament that honours the babies gone too soon. Each year I give my family an Angel ornament to hang on the tree, so we can remember the ones we have lost and they can be a part of our Christmas on earth. I love studio days where you can take the time to focus on one design and just create! Our Autumn/Winter pieces are inspired by the Regency trend and the show that set itself apart: Bridgerton! This darling little hair wreath is Edwina, and is inspired by her soft personality. It is made out of gold pip berry stems hand twisted and adorned with ivory mulberry paper flowers and beige leaves. It will be finished with ivory baby’s breath flowers all around the wreath.
