I USED TO LOVE YOU (NOT TODAY!) is a song I wrote in 2019 for people who come and go from our lives. It’s for those friendships who have an expiry date. These people have taught me a lot about the importance of letting people go their ways and understand that they no longer belong in our lives. If there’s one thing that living in Toronto has taught me was to let people go, and that is the hardest part.
