Ontario Health Study

225,000+ Ontarians volunteered health information, family history, and lifestyle habits to make the OHS one of Canada’s largest long-term health studies.

Over 300 researchers at universities, research institutes and hospitals across Ontario are conducting this study. The Study has been initially funded by the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research, the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer, the Ontario Agency for Health Protection and Promotion, and Cancer Care Ontario. In addition, nearly every university, teaching hospital, and chronic disease advocacy group has endorsed the Study and are proud community ambassadors throughout the province.
