This International Women’s Day, let’s go beyond celebration. Let’s support women with safe housing and lasting stability.
When a woman has a safe place to land, everything shifts - her health, her employment opportunities, her confidence, her future.
We believe housing creates the foundation for every next step.
At Safe Transitions, we walk alongside women as they rebuild - providing not just housing, but community, resources, and wraparound supports.
If you’re wondering how to honour IWD in a meaningful way, this is it.
We are always grateful for donations, volunteers and new housing partners.
We invite you to visit our website for Ways To Help.

January is Human Trafficking Prevention Month - a time to build awareness around one of the most hidden and complex global issues affecting people of all ages, especially young women and girls.
While the term human trafficking can feel overwhelming, prevention often starts in everyday places: schools, neighbourhoods, workplaces, and online communities.
At Safe Transitions, we believe that awareness and community support are key to preventing harm before it happens.
Read and share the slides above to learn more about the potential signs that someone may be in a vulnerable or high-risk situation.
